Hydroquinone 4% Higher Strength Cream 30g

This product does have a slight fragrance to it ( like perming lotion which settles once it's on the skin ) 

**Please make sure to tighten lid on tube as once air gets to the hydroquinone product it will oxidize it and will stop it from working. If this happens you will see there is brown or a dark colour round the lid where is meets the tube **

Hydroquinone is used to lighten the dark patches of skin (also called hyperpigmentation, melasma, "liver spots," "age spots," freckles) caused by pregnancy, birth control pills, hormone medicine, or injury to the skin.

How does it work?

Melanin is a pigment that gives the skin and hair their color. It is responsible for freckles and other dark patches on the skin. Melanin is made by melanocytes, which are cells present in the skin and other parts of the body.

When a person applies hydroquinone to the skin, it reduces the number of melanocytes. Fewer melanocytes means that the body produces less melanin in the treated area. The skin usually appears lighter within about 4 weeks.

Exposure to sunlight reverses the effects of hydroquinone. Doctors recommend that people who use this product also use a strong

This product can be used 2 times a day AM and PM and you MUST wear SPF daily

Please build up to using the product daily by starting by using 2-3 times a week ( leaving days in between each use )

This can be used alongside tretinoin and azelaic acid for maximum results
